Focus Group Meeting 2

The second focus group meeting took place in Brussels on 4th May 2011.

This meeting focused on knock-on effects and uncertainties of GHG policies in transport. The main knock-on effects discussed were indirect effects of speed limits, vehicle taxation and CO2 regulation of road vehicles. The main risks and uncertainties that were discussed are those related to biofuels, electricity and hydrogen in transport and economic instruments (particularly usage pricing). The draft results of Task 3 and 5 were presented at this meeting and the results of this meeting will be used for finalising these tasks.
